Korniche Lanterns Explained

Enjoy the most expansive views possible with industry-leading maximum sizes for your roof lantern, spanning up to 24m2. Meticulously engineered to be the strongest and stiffest on the market, it supports more glass without the need for additional rafters, so you can welcome in more of the outside world. Thanks to its sturdy die-cast aluminium components and patented method of fixing the spas together, the Korniche roof lantern can span up to 3 meters by 2.5 meters for a single piece of glass per side, or up to a maximum roof space of 6 meters by 4 meters with intermediate rafters.

Korniche Roof Lantern

When measuring for your Korniche roof lantern, please measure the external overall kerb / upstand dimensions including damp proof membranes.

Once you have the length and width, we advise adding on 12mm to each dimension to give a 6mm overhang all the way round the kerb / upstand.

Example

Kerb / Upstand (inc membrane) - 2000 x 1000mm

Overhang - 12 x 12mm

Lantern size to order - 2012 x 1012mm

Upstand / kerb must be a minimum of 69mm wide (width of lantern eaves beam) level and square.

Atlas Roof Lanterns

When measuring for your Atlas roof lantern, please measure the external overall kerb / upstand dimensions including damp proof membranes.

No additional sizes need to be included as these are allowed for in manufacture.

Example

Kerb / Upstand (inc membrane) - 2000 x 1000mm

Lantern size to order - 2000 x 1000mm

Atlas upstand / kerb must be a minimum of 67mm wide (width of lantern eaves beam) level and square.
